Our next HR/Culture Champion will be responsible for all of the HR functions in this one person department from hands on benefits administration to culture strategy. This position offers a great mix of tactical and strategic activities. 

Our next leader will:

  • Possess a natural focus on people and relationships.
  • Be able to self manage and prioritize and complete tasks as expected.
  • Demonstrate efficiency with all resources including time, effort, and finances.
  • Be a collaborative co-worker, seeking input from others to produce the best outcome.
  • Be mentally quick and able to switch gears effectively.
  • Be proactive.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Be the Culture Champion—live and promote the Edsel & Eleanor Ford House culture in policies, programs, experiences and tools.
  • Manage and oversee employee and volunteer relations, employee performance and training and development.
  • Oversee and administer all HR programs and activities.
  • Support the Edsel & Eleanor Ford House team.

 Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in HR.
  • Experience working within a nonprofit or a small business.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field.
  • Broad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning and development and training.
  • Experience in administering benefits and compensation and other HR programs.
